SlideWiki
The project’s goal is to develop SlideWiki into a large-scale, accessible learning and teaching platform. This project is collaborating with over 15 organisations who are creating, delivering and sharing Open Education Courseware through SlideWiki and guide the development work.
Similarly to Wikipedia for encyclopaedic content, SlideWiki allows to collaboratively create comprehensive OCW (curricula, slide presentations, self-assessment tests, illustrations etc.) online in a crowdsourcing manner.
Each of these large-scale trials are performed with hundreds of educators and thousands of learners in countries all over Europe. A particular focus of the technology development and testing in the trials are the suitability for academics, teachers and learners with disabilities.
